On September 4th, we celebrated the XV Anniversary of the Ralli Museum in Marbella, founded by Mr. Harry Recanati in the year 2000. Attendants included the directors of the Ralli Museums around the world: Mrs. Serrana Prunell, Director of the Ralli Museum in Punta del Este (Uruguay); Mrs. Haydee Milos Hurtado, Director of the Ralli Museum in Santiago de Chile; Mrs. Lily Tzohar, Director of the Ralli Museum in Caesarea (Israel); Mrs. Rosa Ruiz, Director of the Ralli Museum in Marbella; as well as Arch. Saul Schcolnik, President of the Board of Directors of Ralli Museums S.A.; Mr. José Bernal, the Mayor of Marbella; Mr. Miguel Luna, Responsible for Tourism; and representatives of other countries such as Mr. Raphael Cohen, Consul of Israel, and Mrs. Maria Fatima Cortés Loette, Consul of Uruguay. We were accompanied also by the directors of other museums and cultural foundations, local artists and other friends of the museum.
As part of the celebration we also inaugurated the new temporary exhibition of works by the Peruvian artist Carlos Revilla, who was present at the celebration. This one closes a series of exhibitions that began in March with Marc Chagall.
The Ralli Museum of Marbella wants to thank all participants and all those who visit us every day for enabling us to fulfill Mr. Recanati’s dream, that of sharing art with as many people as possible.
