Beryl Cook

Beryl Cook -  Exhibition decreased

(England 1926-2008)

Naïf artist, self-taught, she started her artistic career in the sixties.

Her works are not identified with any particular style. They portray huge colorful funny characters.

Beryl Cook creates her works from daily life, funny situations and her extensive travels. The figures on her pictures and situations are so human, that it is impossible to resist the underlying humor of her painting and the viewer necessarily draws a smile.

“I don’t know how my pictures happen, they just do. They exist, but for the life of me I can’t explain them”.
